I plan to travel to Marche in August. I will stay in Pesaro, and take a bus from Pesaro to see Urbino. August in Marche is also Opera season: in Pesaro and Macerata.
If I stay in Pesaro, and will go to Macerata to see opera, how do I get back to my hotel in Pesaro after performance? At 1:00 A.M. or later?

That looks to be about an hour and 40 minute drive according to Google maps. Maybe you can ask your hotel to arrange a driver for you beforehand? Or just stay overnight in Macerata? Or - rent a car. I don't know the trains around that region well or if they run that late.
