Travel to Madonna Della Corona Sanctuary

We’d like to travel from Verona to the Madonna Della Corona Sanctuary in October, prior to our RS Tuscany Tour. How can we do this?

Hello joneswi, I haven't done this and it looks like a bit of a challenge but here goes:

Doing it yourself it looks like your best bet is a bus from Verona to Caprino Veronese Bus line 173 which gets you near Spiazzi. Google shows 476 bus running Spiazzi regularly run by ATV (public bus).
Once you get to Spiazzi then there is a shuttle bus to the site: https://www.atv.verona.it/en/sanctuary-madonna-della-corona

There are some sites with detailed trip plans but always check and verify, verify, verify especially seasonally:

You might think about a tour if you want someone else to deal with the transportation and potentially get some historical background on the site, but many of the "half day tours" I see listed are generally from the nearby lake area versus Verona.

Good luck, it looks like an amazing site,

Hi Joneswi! The easiest way to reach the Madonna Della Corona Sanctuary is by car. If you don't have a car available, I suggest taking a train to Peri (30-minute ride from Verona). Once you arrive in Peri, you can proceed on foot to Brentino Belluno, and from there, you can follow the uphill trail known as the "Sentiero dei Pellegrini." This trail will guide you to the sanctuary.

You can find more information on my personal website ( https://www.italynotes.com/stories/madonna-della-corona). Also, feel free to contact me if you need further help!

Have a nice trip!
