My family will be visiting Todi in May. We are a group of 7 and are looking for information regarding getting back and forth from FCO without renting a car. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. We also plan to visit the Vatican during our stay and any information regarding public transportation to Vatican City from Todi will be welcome! Thank you

I've never been to Todi, but it seems to be somewhat off the beaten track. I had a brief look and the easiest method might be....
- Rome to Terni via Trenitalia (about an hour). There are a variety of trains on that route, so if using Regionale, be SURE to validate prior to boarding the train on the day of travel, or you'll risk hefty fines which will be collected on the spot!
- Terni to Todi via Umbria Mobilita (about 30 minutes). Have a look at THEIR WEBSITE for details.

Enjoy Todi, one of my favorite places! There is a train from Roma Tiburtina or you can take the train from Roma Termini to Orvieto but the bus from Orvieto to Todi only runs once or twice a day, and not on Sunday (I learned this the hard way).
