I have an 11 a.m reservation for the Borghese Gallery in early September. I'm thinking of heading over to the Vatican museum and St. Peters for the afternoon until closing time. Since the tour time is 11 - 1 p.m. can I realistically be at the reserved ticket booth at the Vatican by 2 p.m.? What is the most efficient way to travel between the two sites? Thanks!
Take a cab and you should have no problem getting there. They're amazingly reasonably priced within Rome. I'm guessing it would cost you 10 euros max.
You may want to ask at the desk before you leave the Borghese where would be the best place to find a taxi. I remember we walked a while before we found one, but maybe we were looking in the wrong place.
