Has anyone out there used the "io viaggio ovunque in Lombardia" pass? According to Mr. Google, it costs 43 Euros per person, is good for seven days and covers transport in Lombardy, including the Milan metro. We'll be in Milan for nine days in September, so it seems like just the ticket (no pun intended). If anyone has used it, is it good for trains from Milan to the lakes (Stresa, Varenna, etc.)? Only some trains and not others? Is it available at the usual ticket vending machines in train stations? I remember using a pass like it in Bavaria, which was super-cheap (this was about 10 years ago), and that one really did cover every form of transport.
What I found was that it is a monthly ticket for 107 EUR. I can't find any info on weekly passes.

No IC, Freccia, night trains, boats on lakes Como, Maggiore, Garda. No buses not designated public transport, etc. No Malpensa Express trains except those offering 2nd class seats (I don't know what these are, apparently to/from Centrale).
This is what I found:

The question I have is where it says "Suburban and regional trains (also in 1st class, within the limits of validity of the railway fare)." According to the Deutsche Bahn website, all the trains from Milan to the lakes are regional trains. Not sure what the "limits of validity of the railway fare" are.
Here is the map of validity. Shaded area is Lombardy proper. Cross-hatched shading is outside the Province of Lombardy, but in the area of validity (I am assuming).

Also, looks like it is a calendar week, Sunday through Saturday.
I see you can buy it on-line at Trenord.

PS Good find!
And it will get you to Bergamo.
Maybe not to Stresa, though, judging by the map one of you kindly linked to.
Stresa is in Piemonte, so you'd have to buy a ticket from Arona (cross-hatched shading). That is a 2.70 EUR ticket.
I could buy that Arona-Stresa ticket in Milan and simply validate it when the train stops in Arona, right? No need to get off there and wait for the next train?
That is what I would do.
