Can anyone suggest the best way to travel from milan mareposa airport to bolzano. Arriving may 2020 about 6.30 am. Wont be wanting to hire a car. Thanks

I haven't needed to make that trip but there's bus service six times a day. Two of the buses depart very late, but there's a 9:10 AM departure and a 12:10 PM departure. The travel time is 5 hours. Do check the link I've provided to see the schedule for your precise arrival date. Schedules can vary by day of the week. The cost for a solo traveler seems to be 85 euros, which seems awfully high to me.
The train option could be a few minutes faster or a few minutes slower, but it will be cheaper, especially if the ticket is bought well in advance. Trains are more frequent but require two transfers, at Milano Centrale and Verona Porta Nuova. Most of us would find the train more comfortable than the bus, but the transfers would be annoying if you have a large suitcase you have to wrestle up the steps onto the trains. If you take the bus, the bag would just go in the luggage hold. But you can more easily snack on the train; some buses don't allow eating.
