We need to transfer from Rome (near barberini station) to the Civitavecchia cruise port on June 2nd (which is festa Della repubblica). We’re trying to decide if hiring a private transfer service or taking a train would be more reliable for this day? Taking a private transfer is easiest, but I’m wondering if it be difficult with road closures and traffic etc from the festivities. Taking the train would involve walking to termini (20 min?) or taking the metro (barberini) if it’s not closed that day. Any feedback? Thanks!
