Travel insurance for trips longer than 45 days

We've working on a bunch of travel plans for this year and are looking into travel insurance for medical and medical evacuation. But plans we see online cover trips for only up to 45 days. What do folks do for longer trips? For example, we have one trip that will be 60 days.

For medical evacuation, look at Medjet Assist. I don't think there is a limit as to the length of your trip.

I have a yearly travel/medical insurance plan that allows trips up to 90 days. Mine is with Allianz. Compare the cost of a 90 day trip versus a yearly plan.

For medical evacuation (but not medical care), MedJet Assist has plans covering a variety of time frames.

Thank you for the helpful replies. The more we dig into this the more I think an annual insurance plan will be a better fit for us rather than covering each individual trip separately. And I now see at least one plan that will cover each trip up to 70 days.

Next month, we have two weeks in the Baltics, followed by two months there in late summer. Then early winter we plan 30 or so days in Italy. Fortunately, we don't have to worry about the 90-day Schengen allowance, but being 70-ish the travel insurance is top of mind.

I've used squaremouth.com for years. You plug in your particular info and a number of insurance companies will be provided.

I've used worldtrips.com for years and actually about 4 years ago the policy for one trip was $150 but for an annual policy $153. So I took the annual policy and that started me on my 2x a year trip to Europe. I am over their age limit this year but called squaremouth and I now have a policy with Geoblu. I also don't live in the US so was fairly limited in insurance agencies who did not require me to provide a US state that I lived in.

Thanks, Janet. It looks like we're going with Geoblue, too. You're right about getting the annual contract. It's much more cost effective than boking individual trips.
