Wouhat is the best way to get to Capri from Sicily? Also, what is the best town to stay in around Capri for the price... I have a very important birthday coming up and would like to be in that area to go to the Blue Grotto and experience other places in the area.. thank y

Probably from Sicily, getting to Capri will mean going through Naples, then a ferry, Naples to Capri. There are ferries from Palermo to Naples, otherwise, once you get over to the mainland from Sicily, Train to Naples.

Kristin - I would suggest The Hotel San Michelle in Anacapri - the cable car takes you from Marina Grande up to Capri. A Beautiful Establishment with Incredible views. http://www.sanmichele-capri.com/
Hydrofoil gets you there from Sicilia - Or a Ferry - sometimes the hydrofoils are not running , depending on the seas.

Actually, Greg's advice has a flaw - the teleferique from Marina Grande goes to Capri town, not Anacapri. To get to Anacapri you need to get a taxi or a bus.
