Having trouble finding a travel guide for Calabria and Puglia. I'd appreciate recommendations for restaurants in the major towns. Also, I have only one full day in Naples. Is it possible to visit the Archeological Museum and Capri in the same day?

I think it's too much to try to fit in both Naples and Capri in one day (you still have to account for transit time via ferry back and forth). I would pick one based on your interests.

You might try Cadogan or Lonely Planet guidebooks.
I agree with Agnes, Capri and the Napoli Archeological Museum are too much in one day.

Thanks for your advice. The problem is, i'm interested in both! I might try to see a bit of the museum the day I arrive. I'd just have about 1-2 hours before the museum closes, jet lag permitting. I can spend the following full day in Capri. Any restaurants you have particularly enjoyed in Calabria and Puglia?
