We are planning to fly to Venice a couple of days before our RS Tour of Palemro. (April 28 or so)
We have booked our RS trip for Sicily May 1st.
If we arrived in Venice say a couple of days early, is there a "good" way to get to Palemro from Venice before our RS trip starts?
Anyone out there do something similar?

The only reasonable option for travel from Palermo to Venice would be by air. However, that's not a trip I'd want to do "for a day or so", as it will take a minimum of half a day or more EACH WAY for travel.
In the same situation, I'd just explore Palermo and the immediate area for a few days, while recovering from jet lag. I like to be up to "touring speed" when the RS tour starts.

Seems doable... Fly open jaw to Italy, into Venice out of Palermo..
Try to stay in Venice at least two nights, 3 would be better.
Looks like Wind Jet and Meridiana fly out of Venice Marco Polo to Palermo.
