travel from Tuscany to Provence by train

We have about 5 days and want to stop at some interesting places..any suggestions. We will have had 1 week in Roma, 5 days in Firenze and 1 week at Lago Trasimeno. We will have 1 week in Provence and will rent a car there before going to Paris for the last 4 days. Thanks
