My wife and I have the eurailpass, how or what is the best way to get to Palermo from the Amalfi Coast?

"Best way" depends on what you like and how much time you have. An overnight ferry might be more fun than an overnight train, and take a lot less time. I've seen airfares from Naples to Palermo for about 100-180 euro. Trenitalia can give you prices for the train, but it's a long trip. Directferries.com.uk shows a one-way per person fare of 130 euro. This might be one trip that makes the eurailpass a better choice (find out if you can use it on the ferry).
