This will be our first trip to Italy. My grandparents are from the town of Bovino and we would like to travel there and stay overnight. I have looked for a train from Rome to Bovino and cannot find this. What is the best way to get there?

A very helpful website for these sorts of questions is Rome2rio.com. They say to take a train to Foggia, then a bus from there to Bovino. Click here: Rome2Rio Another option would be to train to Foggia and pick up a rental car there, then drive to Bovino. Good luck.

www.trenitalia.com will also reflect some bus options, for instance suggesting connection to the bus at Benevento.
