Will be visiting Orvieto October 22. Our plan is to go to Siena from Orvieto for a few days. Then on to Rome. I think we are planning on buses but need to know where stations are or names so we can choose hotels. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think Flixbus has a bus, but probably very infrequent,
The most options are via train, although slower than a bus.

No need to book in advance, they are all regional commuter trains (seats on a first come first served basis, no discounts for advance purchase, they work like a commuter train or subway)

Check rome2rio.com for possibles. Then maybe deal with the transportation outfit directly for current times, routes & fares.
