what is the best way to travel from either the train station in NAples or the airport to the ferry port. Two of us are traveling separately to end up on Proida. Thanks

Best I don't know. It depends on your preferences. From the airport you can take the Alibus (shuttle bus) from the airport to the Molo Beverello (Beverello Pier), which also stops at the Central station. From the station you could also take the Metro (subway) to the Universita' Metro station and walk a few blocks to the dock. Or the regular city bus or the tram. From the station you could even walk (maybe 30 min walk). From any place you also have the taxi option.

Which ferry station? I think there are 2 - one of them being Mergellina.
