Travel from Menaggio to Lake Lugano or Ticino

There is a relatively frequent bus from Menaggio to Lugano, line C12 of ASF Autolinee. Travel time is less than 1 hour.

By the way, for clarification, Lugano is in the region named Ticino.

My husband and I are looking to do this bus ride as well! Where can we locate the bus station in Menaggio? Any details for the return trip from Lugano back to Menaggio? Thank you!

if you look at the posts above, you can see the bus schedule link, which frankly I find confusing. I see that the bus can have some 40 stops. It looks like it stops in Menaggio at the Bellavista hotel and in another place.
I have also found a Swiss bus from a company called Postauto that seems to make less frequent stops. There is a large bus terminal in Lugano, I assume you can at least stop there. I am not sure about transportation once you get to Lugano. We are going at the end of June. I will post anything I find out in the meantime.

Here is the schedule for the Swiss Postbus 631, aka Palm Express, which provides service between St. Moritz and Lugano, with a stop in Menaggio. Reservations advised.

Note the bus shown by Lola, only goes once a day. The C12 goes much more frequently.
