Travel from Marco Polo Airport to Hotel Mioni Royal San in Montegrotto Term

We are arriving at Marco Polo Airport and would like to use public transportation to Hotel Mioni Royal San in Montegrotto Terme Padova. We understand it is across the street from the Terme-Euganee railway station. Can anyone provide more specific directions?

Very easy. Take the airport bus from Marco Polo to the Venezia Mestre train station. Make sure the bus stops there. Then, buy a train ticket to Terme-Euganee. It's a 35-minute train ride. If you can get the Regionale train run to Terme-Euganee, the fare is 4.10Euro. However, some runs will be on a high-speed to Padua where you will change to a Regionale for the remainder of the journey. The fare on this arrangement should be 11.15E. Go for the Regionale if you can.

Do pick up a copy of the Rick Steves Italy book. It helps demystify the whole process of traveling there. See also Ron in Rome's excellent website for photos and instructions on buying train tickets.

Thanks, we do have the Rick Steve's Italy book and have booked all of our train reservations. We weren't sure about using the bus/train to get to where we are staying or using a TaxiIt looks like the taxi is about 90I don't remember if that was Euros or $. The book has been great in knowing where to go and what to avoid. We will be using the train to travel back to Venice several days and spending a day in Padua. All of our travel from Padua, Florence, Monterosso and then to Rome is by train and has been booked.
