I am trying to make train reservations to travel from Florence to Arezzo. When I check the schedules on both Trenitalia.com and Italiarail.com both sites say the ticket from Fir. SMN to Fir.Rifredi is not included in the cost. Is it possible to use my Eurail Pass for this ticket and if not, what is the cost? Or would it be easier to take a taxi from one station to the next?

It is a one to two Euro ticket. You don't use a Eurail pass for that. In fact, it is rarely cost effective to use a Eurail pass in Italy.

If you have a Eurail Pass and are using it for the Rifredi to Arezzo trip, then it will also cover the very short train trip between SMN and Rifredi. There are numerous regional trains per hour that make the stop.
