My family and I (12 of us) are currently staying in Castiglion Fiorentino for our Son's wedding. We are staying one day and night in rome and fly back to the states the next day. It's our plan to drive to Rome airport, return our rental cars, store our luggage at the airport storage and then take the train with just an overnight bag to termini and check into our air bnb (located a 5 min walk from St. Peter's square)...enjoy the city for the day and then take the train to the airport the next morning. We are NOT seasoned travelers and would like to know if this is a good plan. TIA for the help.
