Travel from Apartment to Airport

Hello,
Our family will be staying in an apartment 10 minutes walking distance, north of the Trevi Fountain area. I am trying to figure out what is our best way to the airport. We are six people (three adults, three teenagers). Each with a suitcase.

The apartment offers a minivan for €150. Is this typical? Our flight leaves at 9:45 am from FCO, so we would need to leave early (Friday morning in August).

I’m not sure what other options we have. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be wonderful. Thank you!

You could also take the metro to Termini station and then take the Leonardo Express (17 euros each ) to FCO. Of course you would need to start early (6:30 AM maybe) to be at the airport 2 hours before departure.

You could also book 2 taxis at the fixed price of 48 EUR per taxi, plus a dispatch fee. That'll save 50 EUR.

Hello!
Thanks so much for the feedback. Is there a recommended taxi service that could provide a fixed fee?

Or a reputable shuttle service that we could look into as an alternative?

Last summer at the front desk of my Rome hotel they called a private car service for me. It was a Mercedes sedan with a fixed rate cost of about 50 euros to the airport. So two cars could be 100 euros. I don't remember the name of the company however.

With regard to a reputable shuttle service consider a private car service. We've used Rome Cabs (not a cab company despite the name) numerous times and have always been pleased. Although we've not had that many people, they probably have a vehicle that will accommodate your party.Send them an email detailing your needs and you should get a quote within twenty four hours. Just google them to get their web site.

Thank you! Rome Cabs looks like it may be a good option for us.
