travel fan

I need recommendations for a travel fan that is small enough to not take up much space when packed in a bag, but that nevertheless kicks out decent breeze. AC power (not batteries) very much preferred. At home I sleep with a fan blowing all night long. I've found that when I travel I miss the coolness and the white noise that the fan provides. I am addicted to my fan and I am wondering how I will sleep for 2 weeks in Italy without it.

lucibell,

You might have a look at www.magellans.com/store/Health___Jet_Lag_PreventionIF271?Args= for one example of a Travel Fan. Unfortunately this is a battery powered model.

The problem with buying an AC-powered Fan here is this will most likely only be designed for use on 115 VAC power systems. Your best bet would be to buy a small Fan when you arrive in Europe, as it will be designed to operate on 220 VAC and will have the correct Plug style for the region.

Happy travels!
