Travel dates to Italy

We are planning a 2 week trip to Italy April 8 of 2011. What will the weather be like? Will it be too cold to enjoy being outside? Any suggestions for traveling at this in April would be appreciated.

Unless you're in the mountains I think the weather in Missouri is much colder than in Italy. Pack with layers as it can be cold in the morning and at night but warm in the afternoon. It's unpredictable so pack for both hot and cold.

Can't make suggestions without knowing where you're going, what you like, what your budget is and who is traveling with you.

For more info than you may want, but all that you do, go to ANY page under "Travelers Helpline" (such as 'Travelers Helpline', 'To The Boot', General Europe', etc.) and click on the "FAQs". From there, click on "Weather".

Also, sunrisesunset.com so you're not lost in the dark LOL (also for those perfect photos). They also give daylight saving time info. Just Google 'sunset' for many other options.

We had a deluge in Florence at the end of April a few years ago, but other than that I don't remember even wearing a jacket...it was short-sleeves for me.
