Travel by train from France to Italy in 2 weeks.

I am fully vaccinated with booster in addition. I will be traveling from France to Italy by train having arrived initially in France and not Italy.
Will I be stopped when I change trains from France to Italy for Covid-19 testing??

How long will you have been in France before going to Italy?

Where are you coming from?

so you will be under whatever the Italian law is two weeks from now for both entry from France (some countries now are assigning different colours for different cities, Belgium for example has now placed many areas of France including Paris on the Red list and other parts on the amber) and before that for whatever country(ies) you were in in the 10 days before arrival in Italy.

Are saying that the Italian Customs will stop French trains entering Italy and make non Italians including French take a potential Covid test at train station??

They don’t usually stop the trains, they come on and check documents, and if you don’t have the required documents (I.e. proof of a negative test), they have no hesitation throwing you off at the next stop.

Then you are on your own until you can get a test and find a new ticket on a later train.
