Travel blog app recommendation

I am fond of Wordpress and have been using it for years for three blogs. Some of the templates are easier than others, but overall it's easy and the online support is great.

I also use Wordpress after trying...and failing...with Wix. It's easy to use, easy to put pictures in. My only frustration comes from hotels with slow Wi-Fi...then my pics are really hard to add to my posts.

I am a WordPress user as well, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. It sounds like you just want to share your pics and experiences with friends and family.

One crucial element to uploading pictures is to reduce their size via some sort of photo editor, I am a dinosaur and cling to (now defunct) Picasa, but I am sure other tools do so as well. I turn my 5mb pictures into < 800 kb size and they upload easily.
