travel between Rome and Siena and Pisa

Hi all, What is quickest way to get from Rome to Siena. Is it bus or train? What is the quickest way to get from Siena to Pisa. We will be flying out of Pisa to go to Paris. It looks like the airport is close enough to head to town for a few sights before we fly out. Can we store our luggage at the airport? Would it be better to arrive in Pisa Central then head to the airport? I am trying to figure out timing of everything and it seems in some cases the bus is better and in some the train. Thank you!

Either bus or train works: ROMA-SIENA via train it's just over 3 hours. It requires one train change, either in Florence or in Chiusi/Chianciano. www.trenitalia.com You could also do a combination of both. Train to Florence (fast 90 min.), then across the Florence station take a SITA bus to Siena (70 min) via bus it's 2 hrs and 45 min from Rome Tiburtina Station to Siena. The company is Baltour/Sena: https://boa.busbookingline.it/web/eurolines/application/booking/seekBookingFrame.php?PHPSESSID=je1iq5j8s89fc14meje365p4f4&AZIENDA=SENA&cittaPartenzaDesc=ROMA&partenzaDal=30/01/2013&cittaArrivoDesc=SIENA&submit=Avvia%20Ricerca%20%BB SIENA-PISA AIRPORT There are bus options (with TraIn and Autostradale) or train options, with Trenitalia, with change in Empoli. We took the bus from Tiburtina, Rome to Sienna. The bus leaves you right in town, probably within walking distance of your hotel. It was a very comfortable and convenient ride.
