My wife and I will be visiting friends in Urbino Italy in June of 2014, and doing some trips from there for several weeks. What is the best way to get to Urbino from Florence as we will be arriving by train from Paris; and are there any recommendations for lodging ( nothing fancy, but with internet access). We are in our mid 60's, are very adventurous, and just like a private room and bathroom. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just continue on the train to Pesaro, then take a bus from the train station to Urbino. We've stayed a couple of places in Urbino and would recommend the Albergo Italia, so well-located. We love Urbino and hope you will too!

We are at the Italia right now, and it is very nice. Prices are $80, 100 or 120. Very convent location.
