This summer we are going to have a dream trip of a lifetime. We are renting a villa outside Florence from July to August 15. We are then taking a Transatlantic Cruise from Copenhagen to Boston, starting on August 19th. I need advice on what to do for those 3 days in between. Where to go? How to travel?

I forgot to mention that we are going in these hot and crowded months because for the Villa part, we have 4 teen age grandchildren and this is when they are out of school. Otherwise , we would not be going at this time of year.
