Trastevere, where do you actually stay?

I know everyone recommends to stay in Trastevere but can anyone link where they actually stay? I am open to hotel or Airbnb’s. Thanks so much!

We stayed on Piazza di Santa Rufina in an Airbnb (through Homeaway). Very nice area. Local night life, great restaurants. Going back in October and staying again on the same Piazza.

I've stayed at http://www.casasangiuseppe.it/en/ in Trastevere and found it very comfortable, although it's a bit of an older property. I haven't been there for a few years, but assume that the standards are about the same.

Just about anywhere is good....we use airbnb's and have not had any problems. Choose locations based upon access to the buses and proximity to things you would like to walk to, such as the Vatican, the ghetto's etc. We stay closer to the Vatican side (near the prison) since there are more transportation options there.
It's hard to go wrong.

We stayed at a B&B, right off of the main street, Viale Trastevere. Owner was fantastic, very helpful, speaks English! The #8 tram, which takes you many places, was just across the street.

We stayed here at this large two bedroom two bathroom Trastevere apartment. Owner speaks English. Convenient for walking and restaurants in area. Ground floor so only two steps. Owner also arranged transportation to and from the airport. We were a group of four and very satisfied with the apartment, the location and the owner response.
