We need to travel to the port on 4/27 to board our cruise.
While there are multiple well rated services from the airport it appears the port is a much more expensive for a private transfer.
Any good suggestions would be appreciated.
At this time it appears $200 is standard fare.

For about 5 Euro take the train. There are about three, four trains any hour from Termini taking between 45 minutes and an hour fifteen depending on the train. Some of those trains will stop at the Trastevere station. The train station in Civit.... puts you within a mile or so walk to the port entrance and your ship. Over the years we have done it four times. Easy to do unless burdened with a ton of luggage.
Just checked -- a Regional train from Trastevere every 30 minutes. Cost is 4.60 euro and takes about 55 minutes. No reserve seats on a Regional train. The trains to Civit... is more of a commuter run.
Civitaveccia where the port for Rome is located is nowhere near Rome itself so it is a long drive and thus a lot more expensive. The train works well and if you are lucky, as I was, there may be a taxi at the station which will take you to the port gates. From there you get a shuttle to your ship. The walk from the Civitavecchia station is along flat land and takes about 20 minutes which in heat and hauling luggage is not fun! There is also a bus from the station to port which is supposed to run every 10 minutes in the morning, 20 mins in the afternoon. Cost is a couple of Euros.
Have a look at Shared Shuttle, they offer transport from Rome to the port for 85€ for two plus baggage . I’ve not used them but it is certainly cheaper than one of the regular transfer companies.
