Does anyone know if the Trastevere Termini in Rome has left luggage? Or if there is anywhere in the neighborhood that lets you store left luggage for several hours. Thanks!
if I recall, the station at Trastevere is pretty basic and doesn't have any storage.
According to the Trenitalia website, there is no luggage storage at Roma Trastevere. Here's their link:

If that does not work, HERE are the instructions on how to check on the services at ANY train station in Italy. Of course, the info is only as good as the Trenitalia updates!
Just FYI on your terminology. "Termini" in Rome is the main central station, in the Termini neighborhood. Trastevere is the neighborhood clear on the other side of the historic center, and across the Tiber.
"Termini" is not a generic term for railroad station. If you ask a Roman where the "Trastevere Termini" is, you'll just get a puzzled look.
Thanks!
It actually goes a little further than that. Termini really means terminal. Trains terminate, begin, end there.
A station has trains passing through. Therefore Trastevere is a station because trains pass through. And, of course, the main station is Termini because they all end or begin there.
And to take it another step further, Roma Termini was named after the ancient Baths of Diocletian, which can be found across the street from the main entrance of the train station.
In 2005, Stazione Termini was "re-named" after Pope John Paul II, as proposed by Mayor Walter Veltroni. JPII is probably turning over in his grave with that form of recognition. Everyone still calls it Termini (or "other" names).
Frank is correct... the station became known as the Terminus. I used to live in Atlanta, which was originally called Terminus - then Marthasville - before being named Atlanta... It was also a huge train hub. Here in Rome, 450,000 people go through Roma Termini each day!
