On way to Rome now to spend two nights in Trastevere. Have seen most all of the normal Rome sites. Any suggestions for Trastevere specifically? Dining…things not to miss?
We really enjoyed our Eating Europe night tour of the area. We went to many places no wait and had a very good local guide.
That food tour is tons of fun-we did the am tour
If you can’t do that - then eat at one of the stops.-delicious!

And climb to Janiculum Terrace
If you're in Trastevere, it means you're close to Testaccio and its market - a great choice for lunch. It's walkable, or you can take the tram.
The Protestant cemetery isn't that much farther - very green and restful, and interesting views of the ancient wall and the pyramid beyond.
Second the suggestions of marinapeters above. It's a bit of a hike up the hill, but a different view of Rome.
Try to avoid the mob scene at Tonnarello.
Santa Maria in Trastevere
Santa Cecilia in Trastevere (be sure to see the crypt)
