Trastevere seafood & pasta recommendations?

Staying in Trastevere for a week. I love seafood and my husband loves pasta. Looking for dining recommendations here or in the Jewish Quarter. Please and Thankyou.

An old standard for me is Ristorante la Scala in Trastevere, on the small plaza of the same name https://www.ristorantelascala.it/ it is a bit upscale, but nice selection of dishes, some seasonal menus, and a few seafood options.

For solid Roman dishes, Trattoria da Enzo 29 is well known, but has not let the fame go to their head or change their restaurant.

When wandering, you can not avoid seeing the crowds at Tonnarello, they actually have several restaurants in the area. I am not sure if they are all that good, or just popular. You can certainly get good pastas there, but maybe better someplace less hectic.

You may need to specifically research a good seafood place, lots of places have a few dishes, but few specialize in seafood.

Making a reservation is a very good idea unless you're traveling in the depths of winter, and even then, I'm not sure you won't need one. It's just the done thing in Italy.

We had an excellent meal in 2019 at Controluce on Via Della Luce. It’s still showing as well-rated. We actually ate twice at the Tonnerello location near Santa Maria in Trastevere. Lunch was ok, but wasn’t impressed with our dinner experience. The lines were long to get in and once inside we were jammed together and the food wasn’t remarkable.
