we are in monterossa right now and trying to figure out a time efficient way to get to san gimignano. I know we take the train to la spezia but wondered about going on to Piza and then taking a bus. Anyone have any suggestions

Google Maps: Take the 3 Bus towards Felettino. Get off at Poggibonsi, take the regional train to CT for about 10 euros. trenitalia.com The 9:46 train takes 3:51 hrs, the 11:12 train takes 3:13 Ooops, I gave you the reverse. It's the same in reverse, I just checked. Train from CT to Poggbonsi, #3 bus to San Gimicinano
