Will be staying near Campo Marzio in Rome. I want to schedule a taxi/ car/ transportation ahead of time to get us back to the airport. Any solid recommendations that isn't super expensive? Open to all options but just want to make sure I can have confidence in timing to make it to the airport on time.

I used Bob's Limo for three different transfers in April. Pleased with their service, arrived when I scheduled them contacted me to let me know their location. I would use them again.

Taxi to FCO is fixed rate 50 euros
Just have your hotel call when you need

We've used Rome Cabs (listed above) a number of times and have always been pleased. In most cases having the hotel arrange for taxi will work well. However, one time when we did that we wound up getting the desk clerk's brother-in-law in his private vehicle. Every thing worked out, but..... Would much prefer to deal directly with a known company.

You can ask your hotel, they may be able to arrange everything, either an official cab that will be there when needed, or a private driver they use.
