Transportation options from Rome airport to Spoleto (3 pieces of luggage + box traveling alone)

Rome airport to Spoleto hotel. 2 hours I was told by hotel in taxi
Uber? Taxi? How much would I expect to pay? Credit cards or Euros? I have 3 pieces of luggage and a box.
Any suggestions? Thank you. How much to tip? what percentage?

How about by train
www.trenitalia.com
Enter from FIUMICINO AEROPORTO
to SPOLETO
if your travel day is far into the future use a day this week, the schedule won't change much.
Hour: enter the time you expect to be ready to take the train (anytime after your landing time).
The site will show all options after that time you enter.
No need to buy tickets in advance. Purchase at the Fiumicino airport station.
If you can scale down your luggage you will be a happier person. There are only two types of travelers:
1. Those who pack light
2. Those who wish they had packed light.

You might want to check with Rome Cabs. It is a private care service -- not a cab company despite the name. After a long flight, some jet lag, not being familiar with the area, and having three pieces of luggage and a box, I don't think using public transit will be very workable. We always use them from the airport to Rome proper and have always been very pleased. Go to romecabs.com and see what you think. Send them an email setting forth your needs. They will probably answer with a quote within 24 hours. You have to pay cash (Euros) at the end of the journey but not in advance.
