Hello all.
I will be traveling with 7 others from Florence airport to about 45 minutes away.
There are many options of rental vehicles to carry 8 people but the luggage is a concern.
We are wondering can we hire Uber or Lyft vehicle at the airport to get our luggage to our destination?
Perhaps some suggestions on companies that can do this.
(I have driven a 15 passenger van in Italy before so I can imagine what some of you are thinking) LOL.

I believe something prearranged would be cheaper than a taxi (which is what rideshare reverts to in Italy), and I would ask your accommodations for suggestions first. How will you get around once there?
Sounds like two vans would be needed.

I hope you had a professional bus driving permit when you drove 15 passengers. On an ordinary driving license you are limited to 9 including the driver.

Is there NO luggage space or limited luggage space? For 45 minutes, I'd rather carry my bag on my lap than pay someone to haul it. I would let the 7 other people know how much luggage they can get into the van. If they want to bring more than that, they can make their own way to the accommodation.
