Trying to find out if there is any help for handicapped from baggage area down to where trains are Milano Centrale? It's a very long walk.
Are you asking about wheel chair availability???
Yes or cart driven down.
Scroll down to the 'At Arrival' segment
Lisa,
If you need wheelchair assistance, do request it when you buy your flight ticket(s).
The last time I traveled with my then 87 year old mom, I requested wheelchair assistance at every airport.
When we arrived to Malpensa Airport, there was an assistant waiting for her with a wheelchair and he whizzed my mom through passport control (as I followed) then he took took us all the way to the train tracks, and he even helped us buy our train tickets for the Malpensa Express.
This assistant also showed us which button to push upon our return to Malpensa Airport for our departure flight.
If you have mobility issues and need assistance boarding the trains, you'll need to reserve in advance here: Trenitalia.com/Info Disabled Passengers. We don't have personal experience with this service but just wanted to let you know that it's available.
Enjoy your trip!
