Transportation from Rome Fiumicino Airport to Civitavecchia

My wife & I will be taking a cruise in late April, leaving from Civitavecchia. We'll be flying into Rome Fiumicino Airport from the U.S. a few days prior to the ship leaving port and have booked accommodations in Civitavecchia for a couple of nights. We haven't booked transportation from the airport to Civitavecchia and I was looking for recommendations.

We will have two large suitcases and some other bags, so taking a train is not a good option for us. Can someone recommend something reliable, e.g., limo or other service?

Thanks

Not sure what they will charge, but we've used Rome Cabs (a car service despite the name) several times and will not hesitate to use them again.

Second vote for Rome Cabs. Did from Rome hotel to cruise port last June. They are wonderful. Also you would probably be better off staying in Rome for a few days then take transport to cruise port.

Thanks all for your replies.

sdw: fine idea, but, as much as we would love to return to Rome, it means a trip from the airport to Rome and then a trip from Rome to the port. We'd prefer going directly to the port, spend a couple of nights, and all but insure that we make it to the cruise line on time when it departs. Going to Rome introduces some risk that we might not make it to the ship. Thanks, though.
