Rome to Rio lists a train as one method of transport, but can't find anything on Trenitalia or Italiarail. Does anyone know about this train?
Thanks.
All airport websites list transportation options for getting to/from the airport. There is a shuttle bus that goes straight from the airport into town.

Thank you so much! I didn't know. GOOD option.
There is also a train, but you have to enter the name of the Palermo Airport, Punta Raisi as the starting point and Palermo Centrale as the final point. The costs are very close to each other but I do think busses are more frequent, and both can drop you at Palermo Centrale train station.
.... can't find anything on Trenitalia or Italiarail....... Most likely it is a private rail company and not part of trenitalia. That is fairly common for many of the train systems connects airports and towns.
It's easy to find. Punta Raisi to Palermo Centrale. Just picked a random date on the Trenitalia site for next week and there are morning trains at 9:27, 9:42, 10:27, 10:42.
The airport bus stops several places before the train station. You may find one of the stops is close to your lodging.
I took the train and regretted not taking the bus, would have been faster because of the schedules.
