I have done some research on transportation from Naples Port to Amalfi and there are 3 means of transportation, two bus services and one hydrofoil. Has any one ever used any of these means of transportation? Would like your opinion on best means and your experience. Thanks.

I haven't gone from Naples to Amalfi but we took the hydrfoil from Positano to Amalfi, same company, and it was great and very inexpensive. I would go that way again. The road to Amalfi is so twisty that when we road it on a bus, one little guy got sick in the front of the bus. Hope this helps.

I understand from other posts that the road from Positano to Amalfi has been closed for repairs - how long for I don't know - you should check this out. Ferry sounds good and the view of the coast line is spectacular.
