We are trying to figure out the best way to go from MXP Airport to Como. Does anyone have train / bus / private driver advice and price information? Many thanks.

You can take the 'Malpensa Express' train from MXP Airport to Milano Centrale( Milan's Central station) then
from there take train to Como (San Giovanni Station).

You do mean the town of Como, right?

It's very easy to get from MXP to Como by train. Are you going to the town of Como, or to connect with one of the boats? Como has several stations, so it would help to have that information. Trains from MXP to Como will take about 1H:15M, usually with one change. You can see all the details on the Trenitalia website.

It is also possible to catch the airport express train to Saronno (earlier stop than Milan Centrale) and then change and catch the train to Como Lago. This saves going all the way into Milan and is cheaper. As Ken says though, knowing your final destination is relevant as to which option is best for your circumstances.
