Anyone know how to get from the Malpensa airport to the central train station? Spoke with a gentleman at our hotel near the train station who said to take a bus. Due to my lack of Italian, I am not sure exactly what bus he is referring to!! Want to be sure to get on the correct transportation since it will be at night. Any help will be much appreciated!!
It is the shuttle bus to the train station. Takes about an hour. Picks up at the terminal. If you have looked under transportation you would this question currently under discussion.
The Malpensa Shuttle takes you directly to the Stazione Centrale. There are 2 companies and they cost about the same. You can buy a ticket from a ticket window outside of the arrival lobby. Or, head for uscita (exit) 2 and buy a ticket from the driver. Make sure you ask if it is going to Milano. The drivers know enough English to indicate yes or no. The trip takes about 45 minutes and will deposit you on the side of the station. In front of the station you will find a taxi stand.
Buon viaggio,

Thanks so much RB. You were very helpful!
According to this page on the Malpensa airport site, both the Malpensa Bus Express and the Malpensa Shuttle Air Pullman depart from Terminal 1-exit 6-stop 3 and both buses also stop at Terminal 2.
