What is the best (easiest ) way to get from Malpensa airport to Domodossola, Italy. Bus? Train? We would like to travel directly from the airport if possible. Flying August 30th, 2018......arriving 7:45 AM.

Private driver based in Como. Contact davideguerrero.com. Or rent a car at MXP and drive there. It looks like it is up above Lake Maggiore. What does your hotel suggest? Or if a rental, the booking agent or owner?

Are you at all price sensitive? If not, then yes, get a private driver to haul you there.
If you are price sensitive, take a taxi or a bus to Gallarate station, then a train to Domodossola.

If you need a car, rent a car. If you don’t, take the train from Gallarate, which is 10-15 min from the airport by taxi.

I agree with Sam and Roberto.
The train journey from Gallarate to Domodossola will take 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
You can check train schedules on trenitalia.com
You can buy your train tickets when you get to Gallarate; there is no advantage or savings by buying in advance.
Just make sure you validate your tickets (date/time stamp) before boarding the train!
