Transportation from Milan City to Malpensa Airport

My daughter and I will be in Milan at the end of May. I'd appreciate some advice on transportation to the airport.

Rick Steve's Italy book recommends taking a train or bus from the city of Milan to the Malpensa Airport. The bus looks like a straightforward option, and inexpensive (20 Euros for 2); however, we'd have to take a taxi to the train station to get the bus. We will have suitcases and carry on. Is this practical for a senior and a teen? Does Uber exist in Milan and is it reliable/cost effective?

I would take the taxi to the Cadorna station and from there I would take the Malpensa Express train. It costs 13€ per person and the journey is only about 35 min. The Malpensa Express train from Cadorna is the fastest option.

Another Malpensa Express also depart from Milano Centrale station, but takes almost 20 min longer.

The bus is another option, as you found out. I think buses depart from outside the Milano Centrale station and cost a few euro less. The time is also a bit less than one hour.

A taxi can take you there also in about 50+ min depending on traffic. It’s convenient if you have a lot of luggage but the cost is I think 110€ (flat fare).

Uber in Italy operates only Uber Black, a black limo service. It’s more expensive than the taxi.
