Hello, I have to get to the Florence Airport by 6am from Genoa on a specific day in September. Searching for a safe, ride/shuttle. Can anyone suggest a reliable service?

I know that it does not answer your question, but I wanted to check that you are aware that 2.5-3 hours are needed for that drive. You would need to wake up at around 2/2.30 AM, which, for me at least, would imply not going to sleep at all. Do you have any way to spend your last night in Florence instead?

Absolutely, Mary Ellen, you should spend the night before your flight in Florence, taking a train there from Genoa. Even then you'd have to get up at o-dark-thirty to get to the airport on time. Where are you flying to?

I wouldn't do it. Too risky. You should go to Florence the day before and spend the night there.
The drive is at least 2 and 1/2 hours, in the best of times. Besides anything can happen, a traffic snarl due to an accident, a flat tire, lane closures due to road work, weather related delays. Take a train and find a hotel anywhere in Florence. You don't need to stay near the airport. The city center is only 15-20 away by taxi and at that time in the morning there is no city traffic.
