Through Rick's Travel Guide we are staying at the Hotel Loggiato dei Servit in Florence and would like to visit Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Vinci. Does anyone one have a recommendation/suggestion on what type of transportation we should take and what time of the day we should leave and return. There are two of us....Thanks Charlie

Most people would take the train from florence SMN to Empoli. It is about 30 minutes and about3.10 euro per person. Then take the bus from Empoli to Vinci about 30 more minutes. http://www.copitspa.it/OrarioEstivo+Bus/EQ_121.pdf first bus leaves Empoli at 06:55, last bus returns at 18:35 2-3 trains an hour almost all day in both directions
