Hi - my son will be travelling by himself. He will be arriving in Florence on Sunday at 2:05 pm. I did see that the SITA bus leaves at 2:40 to Siena. The next bus is not until 5:30. Is there a way to search for a private car or other method of transporatation to get him to Siena. It seems doubtful that he will be able to catch the 2:40 bus!

Check the train schedule. The train trip just ends outside the city walls.

Thanks David! He did check the train schedule and the train puts him a bit too far outside of Siena. He's visiting his girlfriend at university. Also - his arrival is on a Sunday - where there seems to be a great reduction in service.

If your son doesn't want to wait for the next bus at the Siena train station, he can take a taxi. It's only a five-minute ride from the station to the city center.
