Hi everyone, My family, 4 adults and 2 children fly into FCO and want to get to Termini. Does anyone know the cost of a taxi for 6 people? Or do the taxis hold 6 people? I've read that the rate for 4 people is 40 euro, but can't find any other info. I'm trying to decide between the train (6 x 14 euros), a private prearranged shuttle, and a taxi. The day we fly into Rome, we are headed to Orvieto. Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom. Gail

A private transfer from this highly regarded company will cost you 65 euro. If you use public taxis you will have to use two cars.

Your most economical and not much slower would be the bus at about half the train rate.

Linda and Frank, Thanks so much for your replies. I think I'll look into the private transfer. If we weren't traveling with kids, then the bus would be tempting. As it is, I think I'm pushing my luck to get us to Orvieto on arrival day so the private transfer sounds easier, and perhaps, quicker.
