I am a student and want to go as cheap as I can from the airport to cruise terminal and I would like to stay the night along the way in a b and b or a hostel or something clean. I will be traveling with my wife and want it to be safe. Thanks Rick
Rick - If you're going directly from The airport to The cruise terminal in Civitavecchia then I would suggest staying in Civitavecchia. Many hotels and B&B's there - Bed and Breakfast Susanna is one that is good - about $100 for the night. Fun to walk around Civitavecchia and you can actually walk to the ship from there - very close.
A lot of cafes and bars - nice shops and restaurants.
Enjoy and have a Great Cruise, greg
Greg, is staying at Civitavecchia (when going on a cruise) a better choice than in the city of Rome where all the historical sights are?
I know there are trains available, but how long would the ride take into Rome, wouldn't it take away some precious time with the traveling back and forth vs. staying in Rome?
